YOU PICK WHAT WE SPEAK ABOUT @ THE WHCC BOOTH : IUSA09

That's right - we want to know what you'd like to hear about!

We'll be speaking twice at the WHCC Trade Show booth at Imaging USA in January and we want you to help decide our topics.

Choose from the options below - OR if there's something you'd like to hear about that we haven't listed - let us know!!

Can't wait to see the results!

IUSA : SPEAKING SCHEDULE!!!

Well - here's our schedule for IUSA 2009 so far!!!! Wow, it's going to be crazy :)

Here's the link to the IUSA site if you are a Photographer and need to sign up.

The only class of ours that you have to officially sign up for is the PRE-CON class on Saturday.
There is a limit to the number of people they'll let in that class.

We're getting all of our sponsorship finalized so we'll be adding that into this post soon.
This will stay at the top of the blog for a while so scroll down for new posts!

We're very excited about all of this and we can't wait to see everyone.
As for our WHCC talks - the topics are being decided right now. If you are a photographer and would like to hear about something specific - let us know! We'd love to include it.

Allison :)

SIMPLY CANVAS WEBINAR: CANVAS CRITIQUE & LOCHIE JAMS

Alllison and I are hosting a free webinar for Simply Canvas today at 1pm central. 30 studios have submitted work to be critiqued anonymously. The studio with the best image will win a 2 hour phone consult from Allison and myself. It is too late to submit images for the critique but not too late to listen in.

You will need to email directly before Noon central in order for me to get you an invite.

On a totally separate note I wanted to post this pic of Lochie. He is the son of a photographer friend in Australia, Lanne of Painted With Light.

Lochie is jamming out in the back seat imitating how Nick was playing the air guitar in this post. I thought this was very funny.

I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed and learned from the webinars you've done for Simply Canvas. I started my small business just about a year ago and have come so far and yet have so far to go. The little details I learn from you on these webinars is so very helpful to me. And the fact that these are free to watch is oh so pocket friendly for me! lol

Thank you so much for sharing your time and knowledge.

WOW, NEBRASKA HAS A LOT OF CORN...

There is a lot to post about the Nebraska excursion or as it has come to be called "The Tour of Corn". There will be some entertaining video and some cool pics from the inner belly of the Marathon Press machine.

Shannon, we want to thank you and the entire crew at Marathon for the gracious welcome and delicious steaks. We are very excited about the "stuff".

What an awesome little camera the Canon 870 is. Here is my first stab at using the timer.

CALLING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS : SPEAKING

Over the past few months, Jeff and I have been asked to speak at several upcoming events. Some have been for Simply Canvas, PPA and Marathon Press - and we've been so excited to be a part of some wonderful discussions with other photographers.

We truly feel that education like this is the best way to build your business - from the very beginning. Maybe your studio has been around for awhile and you're looking for a way to finesse what you already have in place. It's always great to stay on top of what the market needs. A need that we feel very strongly about is image design and placement. We will be flying out to Marathon Press this weekend to meet the crew and present a Webinar for them on Monday October 13th. Our Webinar will be about designing for spaces in your client's homes and how that can really help get your client from the Ordering Appointment to successfully hanging images on their walls.

We would love it if you guys could join us!!! If you would like to sign up, just click the link below to register.

We will be posting about other upcoming webinars and speaking engagements so please subscribe to our blog so you don't miss anything!!!

We have several things scheduled for IMAGING USA 09 in Phoenix!!!

Hey guys! How great is all of this exciting news!! Do you know if these webinars will be available in a link so that I can listen at a later time? Simply Canvas did not offer that on the BLOG webinar, but they said they were working on it. The time of this webinar does not work with my current schedule, but I would love to be able to register and just access it at a later time. I am not sure if that is something that Marathon Press or PPA offers???? Do you know? Can't wait to hear more of your EXCITING NEWS!

Sounds like good info! I'll have to remember to tune in.
