I feel like it was just yesterday that Michelle Chapman called the studio and left this message: "Can you have Allison call me - I need to talk to her about something..." 

I had no idea I was about to be invited to tell the sweet story of Bo & Chelsie. It started with the proposal, then the official Engagement Session, and then their beautiful wedding. I've been connected to this family for years and truly feel honored to be part of such big memory making moments.

I have too many favorites! So first lets just take a look at their precious first meet. I'll post more tomorrow as well as a slideshow of some faves, but this sweet moment needs a post all by itself :)

OPERATION BEAUTIFUL!

As a photographer I hear this statement from females of ALL ages A LOT :

"Make me look beautiful!"

This statement says so much about the way we view ourselves. We have to be an example for our girls and show them that just because the "world" says they have to be one way, it's ok not to follow those rules. Who set those rules anyway?

I'll be 40 this year and I'm proud of that!

The age on my face has been placed there by the 39 1/2 year journey I've been on. This journey has aged me - its supposed to! Yes, I wear make-up, I have my hair cut into a style, I choose to wear clothes that I think are cute etc etc etc. But my value does not come from these external choices.

 

Ladies - you are BEAUTIFUL - be confident in the beauty that God has given you!

This video is about some girls in Plano, Texas that decided to go to school without make-up! GREAT JOB girls :)
