It's been awhile since I personally made a post - so here we go!!!
So much has been going on our homefront and at the Studio. We were out of town for Easter and for those of you that travel on the holidays - you know if feels like you never had a weekend :) The Studio is crazy busy with everything from Seniors to Weddings. I'll be traveling next week to Florida to study under another photographer for the day. I'll be shooting in all kinds of available light. I love natural light and I think its really important for me to constantly better myself and hone my mad skills :) I'm excited about the trip - but I'm going to miss my family...
So I'm going to post some sweet shots of my girls :)
First - my sweet Ever. She's 7.5 months and on the verge of crawling. She's so ready and so busy.
Next up: Fabulous Flying Fable!!!!!!!!
(she had to dress-up like her favorite circus performer - of course she chose the trapeze artist! Isn't her costume the coolest!)
Jeff and I are always keeping our eyes open for interesting places to shoot. Yes this is a drainage pipe... But look how awesome the light is. Fable had to ham it up - she's pretending to be afraid.
Jeff and Fable found a great wide open space to create awesome shadows of themselves. Here they are showing their muscles. :)
We're still loving our new little camera. Jeff really likes the wide angle lense. You can be right on top of eachother and still get full body shots!. Here's Fable - at a socceer game.
I'm so blessed to be able to have moments like this during my day. There's nothing better than getting to have a little "snuggin" time with your babies. I stole Ever from Ms. Deb Deb (which is hard to do) so I could love on my little girl for a moment before my next appointment.
I'm so grateful that I get to do this for a living. Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek at what's going on with us!
Goodnight!
A :)
I usually post our pictures from the week on Monday, however I am thrilled about these images that Allison shot last week of a newborn. It is always amazing when Allison is given complete creative freedom, and Miss Anna Rhodes was such a doll. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do! -MC
ok, so i have to be the goober who asks if these pics were really taken outside of a naked baby in the freezing cold or did jeff work his wizardry on these images?
Lucky for Allison it was 78 that day.
I dont know if I could successfully fake a forest. Even I have my limits. : )
i am always extremely amazed (and envious) but mostly proud of the work you two do!! (and of course we get some bragging rights bc we are family) all the pictures of newborns are so sublime it makes me want to have more babies to capture that fleeting sweetness that our babies have already outgrown
Here is the REPOST of Fable telling us what the true meaning of Easter is.
Some people have brought it to my attention that the audio file does not work for thier archaic computer systems (windows).
So I am reposting it in a more generic user friendly manner.
Enjoy.

That's about the sweetest thing I've ever heard. Thanks for sharing. Oh - and I know several friends who would LOVE to come to a class and get tips from you on photographing our babies day to day. Love the blog and love the new website. Keep up the good work!
Allison and I are very curious about just who is visiting our blog. It is still a really new addition to our site and we are making a effort to post everday. Here is the current statistics for our blog. I wonder what these numbers will look like in 6 months.

I'm such a sucker for polls! If you put a personality quiz or "is your romance on the rocks???" questionnaire on here- that will just put me over the top! Ya'll ROCK! B
